Any lorry over 7.5 tonne sighted in Cropwell Butler may be reported by using your mobile phone to take a photograph. Please upload to Lorry Watch on the NCC website ensuring the vehicle registration number is clearly displayed - you should give details of the time and date of the sighting as well as name of the road.
Following the loss of the glass recycling facility after the closure of The Lime Kiln Inn in Cropwell Bishop, please be aware there are alternative bottle banks at Asda in West Bridgford, Lidl in Bingham and various other supermarkets.
Any parishioner may report a pothole using the Nottinghamshire County Council online form.
All potholes should be inspected and categorised as follows:
- emergency work: repaired within 2 hours
- category 1: repaired by the end of the next working day
- category 2 high: repaired within 7 days
- category 2 low: repaired within 28 days
The days are getting longer and spring is on its way.
Cropwell Butler New Defibrillator
The defibrillator in the phone box at the front of the Village Hall is now registered with the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Anyone dialling 999 will be given clear instructions by the ambulance service as to its whereabouts, the access code and how to use.
