Hiring Cropwell Butler Village Hall


The Hall is available for hire throughout the year. Hiring can be of the entire premises or for one or other of the Main Hall and Committee Room. Use of the kitchen does not generally incur an extra charge. The car park behind the Hall is also included in any hiring agreement. Hirers should note that the Garden area in front of the Hall is a public area and cannot be hired.

The Hall has a licence for public entertainment but not for selling or supplying alcohol. Hirers wishing to sell or supply alcohol will need to give a Temporary Event Notice to the Licensing Authority.

We have a number of regular bookings, so the Hall is not always available. It is never available on Saturdays until 4pm during term time. Additionally, Thursday evenings are often heavily booked.

Hiring Fees

Any events not specifically listed will be charged an equivalent fee, fixed at the discretion of the Booking Secretary. A non-returnable deposit of £10 is normally required. Rates in brackets are for occasional users unconnected with village
